Hi Tammy. I read Michael’s book after hearing him on the EntreLeadership podcast, and what a difference it has made in my life and business. I loved your guest blog this morning and will be following you from here on out. Thank you for doing what you do.
Hi Tammy! Your Michael Hyatt guest-post rocks! The title and introduction immediately sucked me in! I too, am a mother and writer who finds myself in some not-so-traditional leadership roles. Drawing on that similar perspective, I just guest blogged for the first time yesterday on a ground-breaking leadership website: http://www.aspiretolead.net. Excellent work! Way to break the traditional leadership mold – and encourage others to examine the leader in themselves! I will be back to your blog to read more!!!
I read your post on Michael Hyatt’s site this morning and it made enough of an impression on me to come on over here and tell you so! Sometimes we never know the impact we have on others around us and I like your message to make our mark on the world a positive one. Thank you for such an encouraging article!
I am coming from Michael Hyatt’s website following your article today. It is a wonderful article with some great insights into the aspects of intentional leadership. You definitely made a positive difference in my morning with a morning doze of leadership tactics.
Look forward to visiting your website more often and learn from you.
Tammy, we never know when we may be a leader. In the late 1990s I was “the sole representative” of an infants’ and children’s furniture store at a business association. We were having a monthly AM Coffee at a bank across the street from our store. I was aware that the director of the association was eavesdropping on a conversation I was having with one of the bankers. I said we should think of our AM Coffee conversations as networking: “After all, some of Jesus’s disciples were working their nets when Jesus first approached them.” The next month, and each month after that, the association’s monthly newsletter began referring to the AM Coffee as AM Networking.

That’s great! Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for sharing the info/advice. I’m going to try to be a better leader at work even though I don’t have a title of “leader.”
