Sharing Great Books: The Art of Work by Jeff Goins

As many of you know, I’ve made some big changes in my work over the last year and a half.  I’ve been learning to look at my life and work as art and not just something that I do. It challenged me to make big changes and to start living differently.

I love that Jeff Goins wrote his new book, The Art of Work. Not only do I relate to many of the things written in this book, I have actually had the privilege of watching  Jeff and others live differently and make these changes. Their stories inspire me.

Jeff is a natural storyteller, and wants to help you walk on this journey towards discovering what you were meant to do. He doesn’t just talk about doing it. He’s pulling from his own experience of how he made it happen.

I love to share great books, so I’m excited to give away TWO copies of the book. Leave a comment below telling me why you would like a copy. I’ll pick a winner on Friday, May 8th.

I’d also love it if you’d share with others!

I’d love to read Jeff’s book because I am currently working at a job I see no future in and trying to pursue a career I can’t see a path into from here. Recently I’ve started realizinf that while it’s great to keep going after my dreams I ALSO need to learn to see where I am as a blessing, and to treat of day job a a valuble learning opportunity. Even if it doesn’t feel that way. I’m just not sure how to do that and I think reading Jeff’s book would be helpful.

I would love to read this! I had my ‘AHA!’ moment recently when I finally accepted the fact that I want to write. I left an unfulfilling position recently and decided now is the time to make this happen. I always hear the ‘do what you love and you will never work a day in your life’. Time to start doing what I love! (And love that you are giving away copies of a book that can be a game-changer for another Hustler!)

  3. I would love to read this book because I feel like I’m at a transition point in my life. I’m feeling complacent in a lot of areas in my life / stuck in a rut, and I’m soaking up as many things as I can to help move me in a positive direction. (As a fellow Hustler and D&Ber, I’m trying any way I can to get this book on my shelf from your generous offer to bless as many of us as you’re able.) I first heard Jeff speak last year on a New Years Day webcast on 100 Life Goals. I love how he talked about having passion for what you do and bring that passion to bless others you encounter. I just know that this book will help propel me to greater levels of understanding on how I am uniquely gifted and blessed to be a blessing to others. Either way, thank you for your generosity. I know those who are meant to receive this gift will get that opportunity. I just hope I’m one of them! :)
