I was very excited to hear about Robert D. Smith’s new book, No Brand is an Island. I know the importance of a good brand, as well as having good people around you. I was interested in hearing Robert’s perspective, as I knew he would have some excellent advice.

Here’s how Robert describes his new book:

If you’re working on building your personal brand as an author, blogger, speaker, entrepreneur, coach, etc., I wrote this for YOU—regardless of what stage you are in.

You do NOT have to have a “big” business or brand to start implementing the strategies inside.

No Brand Is an Island contains many of the things I have learned in my 30+ years as manager for New York Times best-selling author and speaker Andy Andrews.

Things like:

  • How to build a team of awesome people around your brand without spending a ton of money (and why this is essential to your survival)

  • Why you MUST learn how to treat yourself like a product

  • How to craft a mission statement that actually means something

  • The easiest (and kind of silly) way to make tough decisions about your career and brand

  • A complete breakdown of my monthly, quarterly, and yearly review methods for reviewing the financial side of Andy’s brand (you can easily apply this to your own)

  • How to know whether you can trust someone or not

Here’s the great news: Robert’s book is FREE for the next few days. I picked it up, and am finding great value in it already. I haven’t made it all the way through it, but I wanted to be sure and share it with you first.

You can pick up your copy on Amazon here. Remember, even if you don’t have a Kindle, you can download the app for your phone or PC for free. Be sure to share this with others as well, and once you’ve read it, leave a quick review.

Within the book, there is also a free audio download, which I am looking forward to. If you’ve ever heard Robert speak, you know that he is full of energy and enthusiasm, and I can’t wait to listen to him read it.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I downloaded it and I’m so glad I did. It’s a must read. I’m only a few chapters in and I have already learned a lot. Thanks for the suggestion!
