I am so excited to introduce you to my friend and pastor, Scott Hodge. He and his wife Amanda have been huge influences on my life, and I am so thankful for them.

Scott is an artist, pastor, activist and writer. He loves to travel, he loves art, and he is passionate about rehumanizing our world through creativity, sensitivity and imagination.

In this episode, we will talk about:

  • Waking up the inner artist in all of us
  • Artistry as a way of life
  • You cannot create without tension
  • Ambiguity, and how it can help us grow
  • Strategic readiness vs. strategic planning
  • Learning to live in tension

So I found myself wide awake in the middle of the night in Ireland last night reading your blog Tammy! Due to jet lag and the fact that it doesn’t really get dark at night in the summer in Ireland I proceeded to spend my awake time going thru all of the posts and finally turning my IPad volume very low and listening to Scott’s podcast. Even that didn’t put me to sleep, imagine that!! (just kidding Scott). Thinking deeply about your direction in life is easier in the middle of the night without all of the distractions so this all had a great impact. Keep up the great work Tammy! I haven’t talked to you much lately due to our different greeter team schedules so I was so happy to catch up with you on this blog. Thank you Scott for all of your great insights as usual. I can always count on you to shake my equilibrium a bit and reach a new higher level of myself when it all settles again. I appreciate you keeping us on our toes!
