Now it’s your turn!

 In Uncategorized

I shared my big announcement this week.

Now, it’s your turn to share the exciting things you are working on! I absolutely love hearing about what other people are doing, and enjoy being able to celebrate and encourage them. I read this verse today that really hit me.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.  Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. ~ Romans 15:13

I know that living differently and following our dreams can be frustrating. It can be scary. It can feel overwhelming. I’ve been dealing with some of those emotions this week as well. But I want to encourage you to keep moving. Keep taking one step forward.

So, let’s hear what you are celebrating, or what you are excited about. I want to help encourage and support you!

I’m excited about starting, quite honestly. I’ve always loved writing but only recently started officially blogging. I’m oh-so-very new to the whole process and often feel like I’m spinning my wheels. I’m most excited that one of my recent posts on Facebook Hashtags got a lot of views. The only concern I have is I’m not entirely passionate about writing that sort of stuff LOL

That’s awesome! It can be so hard at first, but congratulations for starting! That is usually the hardest part!

I will pray for open doors. However, I liked what my pastor said this weekend, sometimes God needs to close every possible door so that we will pay attention and trust him.

I published my first book, Adopting the Father’s Heart. It is a vulnerable and challenging look into God’s call to orphan care through our experience with foster to adoption. I learned a lot about writing, publishing, and now marketing.
