What’s Up Wednesday

One thing I love about blogging is connecting with other people and learning about their dreams. It inspires me. I love to encourage others, and help them realize that their dream matters.

I’d love to hear what’s up with your dream. What are you excited about? What are you fearful of? How can I encourage you? Today is ALL about you!

Tell me all about it in the comments.

Right now, I’m finally getting over a cold that knocked me on my butt for over a week. I’m starting to get a little energy back, but it’s so hard to get back into a routine once you’ve gotten out of it.

Before the cold, I was making great progress on my book and was very excited about it!

I didn’t perform… just drove the performers to the venue. With seniors, that’s quite a feat in and of itself.

Today is a new day, Jamie! I feel you, as I was in a funk for a while with my crazy travel schedule. But, every day, I am starting new. I am also trying the “don’t break the chain” idea that Jim talked about before. I printed those out, and I’m checking off every day when I do something. It’s helping to keep me on track visually. You can do it! Can’t wait to read your book.

I’ve got a list of things I’m excited about! A top secret project coming out in June, pursuing more coaching and editing opportunities, an ebook or two and maybe another trick up my sleeve. I know, I’m nuts. There are only so many hours in the day. I need some AWESOME folks to help me out I’m SURE. I know I can’t do this all without help!

Just purchased my domain and hosting this morning. Gonna START! Been doing designs for a while, but under someone else. Recent changes are “forcing” me to step out and start my dream. Scared spitless, but taking that first step toward AWESOME!
I hope to eventually have several phases to my business, ie., Site Design, Basic SEO, Logo Design and Branding. Found that trying to implement everything at once was a little overwhelming…so I’m trying to take it one step at a time.

That’s awesome! I can’t wait to hear more. Starting is always a little scary, but always worth it. Take one step at a time, and you will continue to make progress. Keep me posted when you get it up and going!

Oh you know the writer’s standard issue dream – to earn enough to buy a Swanson’s frozen dinners from my words to cease outside employment. Oh and the Goddess and granter of magicalness to send me an agent, and… Until then I work and write.

Such a good post! I actually attempted to post my current dream ideas on my new blog myself. Its a slow process, and constantly reworking it to give it more solid foundations, but the prayers and support are always needed…. read here if you care to..wp.me/p3lTRZ-M

I’m in this strange spot of not really knowing what my dream is. It’s like I had it and lost it.

Oh, Larry. I can relate. My dream is very undefined. I keep focusing on ONE step at a time. Taking action on things I feel called to do, and knowing that I don’t have to have it all figured out. It’s been a huge lesson in trust for me!

I’m excited about helping people find their path to a healthier life with fitness and food! Coaching will be a big part of that dream – excited to discover what else is in store.

That’s awesome, Lauren! Are you helping people do that now? I think there is a huge need for this, and I am one who continues to need to be pushed (and helped) to stay on track when it comes to being healthier. Looking forward to hearing more!

Tammy, I love how to do this regularly. It’s just a blessing to look and see you always encouraging others! Really, it is.

I just put the finishing touches on an ebook about hope with my friend Christa Sterken. I am hoping to get this book up on Amazon in the very near future, so that’s very exciting indeed. I’m also continuing to work on my memoir, a journey to hope through my daughter’s epilepsy & autism. I am less sure on the timeline for that, but I probably need to set a deadline and work like mad to reach it.

I know it’s all about me today (and I LOVE that, believe me), but how can we encourage you, and what are you working on right now?

Thanks, Chris! I appreciate your kind words. Looking forward to reading your book. Thanks for asking about me. I’m working on a podcast. I’ve recorded several interviews, and have some great ones lined up. Now I need to finish it and get it ready to publish! I’m very excited about this, as it is way outside of my comfort zone.

That is truly exciting. That medium scares the poop out of me, so kudos to you for jumping in with both feet.
