Who likes books?

 In Uncategorized

I am a continual reader. I love books, and find myself soaking up as much information as I can from nonfiction books. I also love a good fiction book, even though I don’t read them as much as I used to.

When I come across good books, I love to share them. I loan them to people, and also recommend many books that I have read. I love to share what I am learning and reading.

One of my favorite things to do on this blog is to give away books. I have had the opportunity to win books on other blogs, and I love to share good books with my readers. So, that is what the next five days will be about! I am giving away a book every day.

Here they are!

book 1

Unfortunately, nobody gets to win my awesome Start button from Jon Acuff’s new book. I just thought it fit well with these books. Also, the Start book you see listed is an advance copy. I’ll be giving away a new release copy, which includes the preorder bonuses. Let me just tell you that these are awesome! I’ve read The Hater Handbook and The 3 Stages of Every Awesome Idea. I’ve been at every Quitter conference, and I attended Start Night in Nashville. The video and audio sessions from these events will really inspire you.  The book alone is fantastic, but these preorder bonuses absolutely rock.

I’m only giving away one, so if you want to make sure you get all of this great stuff, be sure to order your own copy before Sunday. The book officially releases on Monday, so the bonuses will not be available after that. You can check out all of the details here.

So, who is ready to win some books? Be sure to come back every day!

Which book do you want to win and why?

I want to win The Robert D’s book. I have hit the pause button on some things and I think that book might be the jump start I need to get moving.

20,000 Days and Counting would be the book for me. Read so many wonderful things about it, and I’d like to get my hands on it. Sadly, my book budget is busted already

Jon Gordon’s The No Complaining Rule. It will help me understand how to better lead my team and change our mindset to reflect a more positive attitude. We have a good budding culture and I think it can only get better! This giveaway is awesome, Tammy!

Thanks, Lily! I just read that one on a plane the other. It was so great. I was finding myself slipping into some negative thinking, and it really helped me turn it around. I love his books!

Aww, come on Tammy! No Start switch? That’d be the greatest prize. Next to that, my eye is on two books –

20,000 Days – Robert sounds like an amazing man that’s challenging us to live extraordinary lives. He’s done amazing things with Andy Andrews and continues to grow. I could learn from a man like that.

    and

The No Complaining Rule – Well, to be honest, I struggle with complaining… Plain and simple.

Thanks, Joe! That Start switch is a very limited item, and I treasure it! I really liked 20,000 days and have been inspired by Robert D. I even got to meet him at Start Night, which was awesome. And I just read The No Complaining Rule, and needed the kick in the pants it gave me!

I know, I remember Jon talking about it on his blog. It just looks so cool, wish I could have been at Start Night.

I assume you’re only posting in the US? Otherwise I would have loved 20,000 Day and Counting or Memories of Finding Faith.. but oh well 🙂 I love what you’re doing by the way.

I am. I didn’t mention that. Sorry! They are great books! And thanks for the kind words.

What an amazing offer Tammy! The No Complaining Rule would be my first choice – and then 20,000 Days – both seem like great ways to stay positive and focused – and would fit well with Start. BTW – Wrecked is pretty awesome, but I already have a copy – and how on earth did you get the start button?? I evidently wasn’t in the right place at the right time that night!

Carol, we had the honor of attending a VIP dinner before the event. There were only a very small number of them given out then. I’m giving away The No Complaining Rule today.

I would LOVE to have START! It’s so where I am at in life right now…just don’t feel I can afford books right now.
I think it would be a great help in motivating me beyond the fear of getting my business started.
