Let me hear it!

 In Uncategorized

Life is so busy.

I don’t know how life is for you right now, but I am in another crazy cycle of busy lately. When that happens, I find myself posting less and not getting to interact with people as much. And I don’t like that.

As many of you know, one of the things that really excites me is hearing about what creative projects other people are working on. I love to celebrate it!

So, I’d love to hear from you today.

What are you working on?

What are you dreaming about?

What are you excited about?

What do you want to promote?

What do you need some encouragement to continue?

I would love to hear from you in the comments. Don’t be shy! I am giving you permission to tell us all about YOU today!

Currently I’m working on learning to write iPhone apps. I’ve already done a bunch of Android stuff, and recently got some funds to buy a Mac and expand. I have a whole backlog of ideas, but if there’s anything people want, let me know. I’ve discovered that making a general app isn’t good, and small niche apps seem to do better.

I’m also working on my blog. Both my wife and I are constantly putting up some great material I think. If you have a blog and feel like you need a day off, let me know what you’d like written as a guest post. I can do humor pretty well (I’m normally one of the most liked commenters on SCL), but I can also do other things.

I’m also really getting into Twitter. It’s a great outlet for humor and random thoughts throughout the day.

We just had a baby in February, so we’re still adjusting to that, but soon stuff will pick up again.

Tammy, can I first say it’s refreshing to be asked that question in this “Me, me, me, me” world. Especially because I know you mean it.

I am working on a book right now about my journey to hang tight to God and hope in the midst of this crazy life. I’m a bit bogged down right now with it, as I’m trying to figure out how much of my personal story to include. I’ve lost my way a bit, and now I find myself hesitant to keep writing it at all. I hope to change that today.

Thanks, Chris. I know that working on a book can be so frustrated, especially with a busy life. Keep moving forward! You can do it!

Thank you for asking! Will you tell us what you’re excited about?
I’m building a coaching business focused on helping people live a healthier life through modifying their eating and exercising behaviors. Tonight is my FIRST cooking demonstration event at a local restaurant. Fifteen people are coming and it’s going to be awesome!!

Well, my normal posts. My Saturday fiction posts. I have an idea for a time traveling preacher swimming in my mind. Plus another strange story. Plus, I will be beginning my summer campground ministry in a month. Busy.

Well thanks for asking! I’m currently working on a website for sharing the best articles and blog posts from around the web; Christian articles on faith and current events. Hope to have it launched next week. Super excited about this. Thanks for showing interest in what others are doing. How about you? Anything you’re excited about that you’re currently working on?

Tammy, Thank you for asking. I have irons in the fire right now but nothing as major as the others that have commented. I am in the middle of transferring to a new position in my job, trying to move my blog from blogspot to WP, write blog post to find my writing voice and prepare for a couple of upcoming speaking events. The speaking events is where my heart is all the other just support it.

A new job is always stressful! And moving the blog can be as well. Good luck with speaking. Let me know how it goes!

How gracious of you to ask! IBesides my regular day job, I am juggling three freelance articles that are in different stages or writing and editing, trying to keep up with my blog, keep up with the kids and their school schedule and college application process, and keep the house running fairly normal (giving myself lots of leeway on that one!) I am dreaming about more solid writing opportunities and excited that God has opened some doors and feel affirmed in that. What are you working on? You always have such cool projects going!

Sounds like you are busy!! I love when doors get opened because of our obedience. Thanks for asking about me. I am starting a podcast, which is a little scary, but exciting. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for asking, Tammy! I meant to post the other day, but tasks distracted me. I’m trying to get going with writing, blogging, gathering thoughts for a book project. There is a lot to think about and other responsibilities pull me away. So I’m trying to learn to balance time and focus on what is truly important each day. ๐Ÿ™‚ There is a lot of excitement as well!
